Title: Afternoon Jock / PSA Director
Hi. I’m Ana Lee. I’m a lifelong lover of music, radio, animals and nature… those are my passions. I started doing weekend air shifts here in the summer of 2011. I started my radio career in my home state of California at a little radio station in Ventura in the 80’s. Then I moved up to a great rock station, KTYD in Santa Barbara and back down the coast to the legendary metal station – 105.5 KNAC – Pure Rock! I got to do some pretty fun stuff in the heyday of hard rock on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California. I was born and raised on Southern California rock and folk music. I’m super lucky to get to play the great variety of music we bring you hear at Lightning 100. I am also Lightning 100’s Public Service Director so you’ll see me out at a lot of community events whether it’s to raise awareness for animals, the environment or hunger or fundraising for the many worthy non-profits we have here in Middle Tennessee. My passion for animals started as a little kid. My parents took me to ride ponies and I was hooked. I bought my first horse when I was 14. I still have two horses that live with me on my little mini farm just outside of Nashville along with two cats and a little border collie mix named Archie that just wandered up to Marathon Village. Moving to Nashville and joining Lightning 100 is so far, the best decision I’ve ever made!
