Head of Oh Boy Records Jody Whelan and singer-songwriter Corey Branan stopped by OneRPM studios to promote the upcoming John Prine Tribute Event “The Songs of John Prine” and to perform “Mexican Home” and “About Other Things Today.” This event is a benefit for Jessi Zazu of Those Darlins will be held at The Basement East on Thursday July 27th. The Songs of John Prine will feature many artists including Corey Branon, Jason Isbell, Brothers Osbourne, and many more. All of the proceeds will go to aiding Jessi’s fight against cervical cancer, which she was diagnosed with last year.
