Sweeney Todd - October 4 - 18th
A rare instance of a musical thriller, this chilling, suspenseful,heart-pounding masterpiece of murderous barber-ism and culinary crimetells the infamous tale of the unjustly exiled barber who returns to19th century London seeking revenge against the lecherous judge whoframed him and ravaged his young wife. Sophisticated, macabre, visceraland uncompromising, *Sweeney Todd *nevertheless has a great sense offun, mixing intense drama with howlingly funny moments of dark humor:audiences have found themselves laughing hysterically one moment andgasping in surprise the next.

Fab Four Festival 2008 - Oct. 24-25th
The two-day event features live music, informative panels, and a wide array of Beatles memorabilia. We will be celebrating the 43rd Anniversary of the British Invasion.


The event kicks off Thursday, Oct. 23 with a Patron’s Party, including a silent and live auction of prized Beatles memorabilia, artwork and other must-have items as well as a performance by the WannaBeatles. Friday, Oct. 24, live performances by FAB and the Liverpool Legends rock the house. Saturday, Oct. 25, festival goers can choose from several panel discussions featuring authors, songwriters and other close collaborators of the Fab Four. Saturday night features more live performances, including Joey Molland, Marshall Crenshaw, Buzz Cason and Bill Lloyd headlined by The Long Players performing Abbey Road. There will also be some surprise guests, so stay tuned. It is going to be an outstanding event.

Avenue Q - Oct. 28 - November 2
Avenue Q is the story of Priceton, a bright-eyed college grad who comes to New York City with big dreams and a tiny bank account.  He soon discovers that the only neighborhood in his price range is Avenue Q; still, the neighbors seem nice.  There's Brian the out-of-work comedian and his therapist fiancee Christmas Eve;Nicky the good-hearted slacker and his roommate Rod - a Republican investment banker who seems to have soom sort of secret; Internet addict called Trekkie Monster; and a very cute kindergarten teaching assistant named Kate.  And would you believe the building's superintendent is Gary Coleman?!? (Yes, that Gary Coleman.)  Together, Priceton and his newfound friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever elusive purpose in life.

WARNING:  Due to adult situations like full puppet nudity, Avenue Q is not suitable for all audiences.  Age Appropriateness: Avenue Q does employ puppets, but due to adult content, it is not suiable for children.
Bone Bash - Oct. 30th
46 Million Americans including 300,000 children in the United States suffer from over 100 different forms of arthritis.  

Come be a part of the biggest night on Halloween weekend.  The Mapco Bone Bash is a continued tradition of frightfully fun costumed entertainment on October 30th at the Cannery Ballroom.  Don't miss this Thriller themed event entertained by Who's bad - the Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute band.

Halloweast - Oct. 31
The fifth annual Yazoo Halloweast pub crawl will take place on Halloween night October 31st from seven to eleven in East Nashville's Five Points.  Get on your best ghoulish garb and join Lightning 100 and All The Rage at The Alley Cat Lounge, Three Crow Bar, Beyond the Edge, Batter'd and Fried Boston Seafood House and Red Door East starting at 7 pm on Halloween.  At each location participants will enjoy fantastic drink specials and be awarded prizes throughout the evening including prizes for the scariest, sexiest, most original, funniest and best celeberity look a like costume.  visit all five locations on the crawl and qualify to win an autographed guitar by Old Crow Medicine Show courtesy of Corner Guitar.  The Hallowest pub crawl is a free event, but participants must be over 21.
Artrageous - Nov. 8th


Founded in 1987 as a benefit for Nashville CARES, Artrageous has raised more than $2 million for the support of AIDS education and services in Middle Tennessee.  A group of Nashville's most prominent gallery owners began the event as a response to the AIDS epidemic and its devastating impact on the arts community.
