Dragon Boat Team Recruiting Party - July 8th

Come out Wednesday, June 8 from 5pm to 7pm for a Team Green and Lightning 100 Dragon Boat Team Recruiting Party at Sambuca in the Gulch. We have two teams – each spot is only $10 per person andall goes to the Cumberland River Compact. Slots for our teams will be filled on a first come basis and there will be a competitive and beginner team available. Saumbuca will be offering us a free drink ticket per person and light appetizers. For those who do not make it onone of our teams, can form their own team by meeting and mingling with other paddlers July 8th.

Full Moon Pickin Party - July 10th

Musicians and music fans alike are invited to the Full Moon Pickin Party, sponsored by Friends of Warner Parks. This fundraiser features Middle Tennessee's finest bluegrass music under the light of a full moon. All of the monies raised from this laid-back affair will go directly back into the Parks to ensure preservation, protection, funding educational programs and special projects including camp-outs and hayrides for inner city kids.

When: Friday, May 15th from 7-11pm
Where: Steeplechase Barn at the Equestrian Center
              2500 Old Hickory Blvd. in Percy Warner Park.
Cost: $15 in advance, $20 at the door
              Children 6 and under free
              $10 for 7-15 year olds

Pickers with a BLUEGRASS instrument ~ $5
Advanced purchased reservations must be received by 5:00pm the DAY BEFORE the event. Tickets may be purchased online at Now Playing Nashville or by cash/check at the Friends of Warner Parks Office. Call 370-8053 for more information. There is a small convenience charge for online ticket purchasing. This event is rain or shine.

Beverages included in the ticket price, adult admission includes 4 beers – Bands subject to change. Food from Off the Grill and Moosehead Kettle Corn available for purchase on-site.

Team Green Birthday Mixer - July 28th

Team Green is turning 13 and to celebrate our teen year’s we’re throwing a huge birthday bash downtown! Head over to the brand new Dowtown YMCA building for a scavenger hunt for giveaway tickets as you visit different facility features of the building, then walk a block to The Standard, a historic downtown house converted into a beautiful restaurant and ballroom where the real party begins!

Frist Fridays - July 31

Frist Fridays has become one of Nashville's most popular summertime activities, and it's back for another year.

Make plans to join your friends and fellow Frist Center members in the Turner Courtyard for live entertainment, great art, cash bars, and complimentary horsd’oeuvres under the stars. The festivities start at 6:00 p.m. and conclude at 9:00 p.m.

It's the best way to start the weekend.

Foralmost 30 years, Super-T has toured the Southeast, playing clubs,college campuses and music fests and weddings, becoming a bona fidelegend in the process. How good is this band? Super-T has performed attwo inaugural balls, and last year, performed at Jenna Bush’s wedding.
