Local artist of the week Jeff Carl is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter. Jeff released his sophomore project, “Survive,” earlier this year. This EP is his most artistically honest and heart-felt release to date. Diverse in its style, Jeff’s writing is united by dynamic vocals, a mesmerizing falsetto, timeless, piano-based melodies reminiscent of Harry Nilsson and Randy Newman, and a modern pop sensibility akin to artists like Chris Martin and John Legend.
