Lt Dan here with my DJ pick of the week from J Mascis. The Dinosaur Jr guitarist will release his new solo album Elastic Days Nov. 9 via Sub Pop. Mascis previewed the album with a folky new single titled “See You At The Movies.”
Naturally, the single features fuzzy, very “Mascis” guitar solos, but unlike much of his other work, features inward thinking, more feely lyrics. Listen to “See You At The Movies” below and let us know what you think.
