Lt Dan Buckley here with my DJ pick for this week. Jade Bird is back with a new single! “Lottery” is follow up to Bird’s 2017 debut LP Something American. After discovering the 20 year-old British singer-songwriter as SXSW last spring, Bird visited the studio last year and blew us away.
Bird says “Lottery” was produced with the same group (Simone Felice and David Baron) that helmed Something American and that she’s soon looking to “release an album, which I’ve got a concept for,” in the near future.
