Arcade Fire has certainly created a buzz about their new album Reflektor, which is expected to drop October 29th. This past Saturday they graced the SNL stage and performed the title track/single “Reflektor” as well as a new unheard track “Afterlife.”
Following the conclusion of SNL the thirty-minute special, Here Comes the Night Time featured Arcade Fire showcasing three new songs. The special was nearly on the verge of chaos the entire thirty-minutes. There were parades of costumes including, skeletons, rabbits, huge paper mache heads and various other strange characters. Not to mention the countless celebrity cameos including James Franco, Bill Hader, Ben Stiller, many other comedy greats and even Bono made an appearance. Arcade Fire’s front man Win Butler said that the band had to whittle down about 60 new songs for this effort and with almost all of the songs lasting more than seven minutes the record will be released as a double LP having in total thirteen songs. Needless to say the world is anxiously awaiting Arcade Fire to deliver many more eccentric hits with their new album Reflektor set to drop on October 29th. Click the more below to watch the video.
