RETRO LIGHTNING – 1975

(Show #981; aired on 08-18-2012)

.

1975…the year of my high school graduation from Nashville’s Peabody Demonstration School.  1975…the year I moved into my Freshman dorm room at Vanderbilt University.  1975 was also my first full year as a DJ on WRVU.  As the station’s music director that year, I was responsible for the selection of current music to play on the station.  Today’s show is just a small sampling of what I had to choose from that year.  So sit back, enjoy the memories, and feel free to share this playlist with your Facebook & Twitter pals! — Fred
