General Admission tickets, plus VIP, Super VIP and Big Kahuna festival passes, will go on sale beginning on Friday, February 15 at 11:00 AM ET at www.hangoutmusicfest.com/tickets. Fans should act quickly, as the festival is expected to sell out of all tickets at all price levels. Daily tickets will not be available, and tickets will not be available at the door. The limited number of “Early Bird” tickets and passes sold out within five minutes of going on sale in December, and last year’s Fest sold out of all general admission tickets in less than two weeks after going on sale.

Imagine Dragons – Radioactive We gave 20 lucky fans the chance to see a private performance with Imagine Dragons before their sold out show at Cannery Ballroom. Passion Pit – Take A Walk Passion Pit performs in front of a few fans in Griffin Technology’s Pre-Show Live event at Marathon Music Works. The band was running late, so we had to cut out the interview. Michael Angelakos, lead singer of Passion Pit was a little offended by this. Check out this live version of “Take A Walk”. The Lumineers – Classy Girl
If you heard The Lumineers first on Lightning 100, you’ve got Wells Adams to thank for that. After a few weeks of playing “Ho Hey” during our music meetings, the song made it to the airwaves. Lightning 100 was one of the first stations in the country to play The Lumineers…..and now you hear them everywhere.

Music Allies and AC Entertainment announce the 2011 Moogfest lineup! Who else are you hoping will be added to the lineup?
Moogfest 2011, the annual festival of electronic and visionary music, celebrating the innovative spirit of Bob Moog, inventor of the Moog synthesizer. Taking place Oct. 28 – 30, in beautiful Asheville, NC, Moogfest’s Halloween harvest of musical delights builds on the tremendous success of last year’s reinvention of the Moogfest concept in the city that Bob Moog called home.
This year’s Moogfest lineup highlights a remarkable synergy of classic electronic music pioneers, contemporary groundbreaking artists, and young upstarts who are further pushing musical boundaries. ‘70s innovators including Tangerine Dream, Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Suicide will present rare US performances as they join a lineup that includes the Flaming Lips, Passion Pit, STS9, Ghostland Observatory, Crystal Castles,Chromeo, Battles, Umphrey’s McGee, M83, Mayer Hawthorne & The County, Adrian Belew Power Trio, Holy F**k, Matthew Dear, Toro Y Moi, Twin Shadow, Oneohtrix Point Never, The Naked And Famous, Tim Hecker,Brandt Bauer Frick, Cant, Gold Panda, Austra, Little Dragon, Anika, Causing A Tiger,and Ford & Lopatin, with many others still to be announced.
The final Moogfest 2011 lineup will ultimately feature performances by over 60 internationally acclaimed artists in numerous venues throughout downtown, including the Asheville Civic Center Arena, the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, and world-renown Orange Peel Social & Pleasure Club. The festival will also host workshops, talks, interactive experiences and art exhibitions and installations.
“Last year’s reinvented Moogfest – the first to take place in Asheville – was an amazing experience – and the response from artists and fans alike was extraordinary,” says AC Entertainment founder, Ashley Capps. “We’re very excited and inspired to build upon that success for the 2011 festival.”
