How do we pick the music on Lightning 100? Good question.

Have you ever wondered how we pick the music that’s played on Lightning 100? It’s pretty simple actually, Dan, Wells, Mary, The Rev., Brian, Hammel and whoever else is around get together once a week and we listen to a bunch of songs. We vote on the tracks we like best and that’s what gets added to the Lightning 100 playlist. It doesn’t matter if the acts are local, unsigned or on a major label, the best songs each week make the cut.

Bookmark my blog for the inside scoop on bands we’re considering for airplay on Lightning 100. I’ll give you a list of what we’re listening to and you can hit me back with your opinions. Your vote counts as much as mine.

Thanks for helping us make Lightning 100 the best radio station in Nashville.
