British singer-songwriter Lucie Silvas performs two songs off her new independent album E.G.O., released worldwide on August 24th. She joined Ana Lee in the ONErpm studio to perform acoustic versions of “Kite” and “Black Jeans.” She recently made her U.S. television debut on the Today Show performing “Kite,” the lead single off the album. “Kite” showcases Silvas’s raw vocals, and is about an independent women who has no fear. Inspired by Fleetwood Mac, the Carpenters, David Bowie, and Dusty Springfield among others, Silvas combines soul, dance, and rock n’ roll to create a vintage sound. She’s toured with Little Big Town and Chris Stapleton, and this September will be hitting the road supporting singer-songwriter Cam.
