We’re kicking off the first Saturday of August with our latest ONErpm Hitmaker Alert, “Friends I Barely Know” by Windser. The track combines coastal rock with modern pop. It’s the perfect song for students right now, as their summer is fading away and they return to their campuses for a new school year. It’s the end-of-summer anthem that pairs perfectly with that movie montage you’ve always imagined.
The single hit streaming services on July 13 and is the second track off his upcoming EP Where the Redwoods Meet the Sea.
Windser spent most of the summer on tour opening for Cannons and will return to the stage for a show at The Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles on August 12.
