This week’s DJ pick from Dan comes from the venerated Eddie 9V and his song “Chamber Of Reflection!” This song is a Mac Demarco cover and released this past June.
Eddie 9V is a blues and soul musician from Atlanta. At age 15, Eddie began pursuing a life of music. Eddie described his early influences on his website and his frustrations when they fail, “my first heroes were the local legends like Sean Costello, but I was too young to go see them. My first step in being a professional musician was learning how to accept failure.” Eddie released his Debut Album Left My Soul In Memphis to rave reviews with Rock and Roll Meuse describing it as “fresh and life-affirming.” He has since then released two more studio albums that have cemented his talent in the soul/blues scene.
“Chamber of Reflection” is very similar to the original Mac Demarco tune, but brings in his blues and soulful influence. Check out “Chamber Of Reflection” below!
