This week’s ONErpm Hitmaker Alert goes to “Good Goodbye” by Stop Light Observations!

Stop Light Observations is a five-piece band from South Carolina known for their unique blend of musical styles. They showcase a fusion of pop, electronic, and rock that come together to create a one-of-a-kind listening experience. The group has established themselves worthy of a spot on previous lineups at Bonnaroo and Firefly Fest. They’ve also broken the record for most consecutive sold-out shows at The Music Farm in Charleston.

“Good Goodbye” is the latest single from Stop Light Observations. It follows the story of holding on to somebody who isn’t good for you. The track opens with a beachy guitar riff, and then the story begins to unfold. Afterwards, we’re presented with a heavy bass line, and then everything comes together with a fuzzy electric guitar to carry us through the chorus. Lead singer William Blackburn’s dynamic vocals add so much to this song- his performance truly reflects the band’s dynamic range. The second this song begins to fade out, you’ll immediately want to start it right back over again.

Stop Light Observations are currently in the middle of their fall 2023 tour! You can find dates and ticket information here. In the meantime, listen to “Good Goodbye” below!
