This Nashville-based duo is composed of Connor Robertson and Liz Freel. They were formed in a basement in Grand Rapids, Michigan during a period that allowed Robertson to refine his production skills while also bringing Freel’s lyrical and melodic ideas to fruition. Together, they found a sound that is as cinematic as it is introspective. “Runner” stands out in their growing discography. It follows their previous releases “Stonehenge” and “Channel Surfer,” offering a more minimal and emotionally direct side of the band.
