Frontmen Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian met on Craigslist and began writing jingles together. Three years later they formed Capital Cities and released their self-titled EP. Their single “Safe and Sound” shot to the top of Billboard’s Alt Songs and Modern Rock radio. Capital Cities is currently on the US portion of the Prismatic World Tour with Katy Perry.
