Lightning 100 debuts “Spitfire” by INTL on 100.1 FM.  It’s been nearly one year since fans have heard from the ground-breaking alternative rock outfit INTL, the band has emerged. Teaming up with young hungry producer, Joshua Niles, INTL is proud to announce the release of their single, “Spitfire.”
After releasing their self-titled EP in 2011, INTL went on to release several singles, new material, score multiple spots on several national television shows, and successfully preserver through a name change. This past year the band teamed up with Grammy Award-winning producer, Vance Powell, to promote Universal Audio’s interface, Apollo 16. The band hid away in an effort to master a new and authentic sound. “Our goal and our hope as musicians is to speak truth and enter conversation with anyone who listens,” lead singer Kaleb Jones confesses.
Individually, INTL’s four members are incredibly talented, but collectively, their musicianship and influence is undeniable. Their ingenuity comes through in the distinct brand of rock they have carefully developed over the past few years. INTL has cultivated a sound all their own, a sound that allows them to stand out in a city full of fellow creatives.  Tune in all this week to hear “Spitfire” by INTL on Lightning 100.
