Hot Damn Burnette, son of Fleetwood Mac’s Billy Burnette, brought psychedelic eclecticism to 3rd and Lindsley at Lightning 100’s Nashville Sunday Night on September 3. Burnette performed in a theatrical style complete with heavy surf rock instrumentation and glam metal vocals reminiscent of both Dr. Frank-N-Furter in Rocky Horror Picture Show and The Darkness in their early days of creative obscurity. With an energy level that only increased with each song performed, he showcased a new and exciting musical style that could not be confined to the boundaries of a certain genre or label.
Nashville Sunday Night is a special presentation of Nashville’s Independent Radio, Lightning 100. Each Sunday night Lightning 100 broadcasts a concert from 3rd and Lindsley, one of Nashville’s finest live music venues.
