3rd and Lindsley welcomed Ben Dickey to the Nashville Sunday Night stage on June 30, 2019. Dickey is a musician and actor hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas. His musical career began at the ripe age of 10 when his grandfather gave him a 1935 Gibson L-30 archtop and followed him to Philadelphia where he played with Amen Booze Roosters and Blood Feathers. In 2014, after Blood Feathers split, Dickey began a solo career and eventually left Philadelphia.
Dickey’s acting career came later, when he was handed a lead role in the 2018 Ethan Hawke film, Blaze. This role has led to several others and an award win at the Sundance Film Festival. Since Blaze Hawke, executive producer Louis Black, and Dickey’s co-star Charlie Sexton, formed SexHawkeBlack Records with Dickey’s 2019 release A Glimmer On The Outskirts as it’s debut album.
