Feeling blue about Real Estate canceling all of their headline shows? Us too. We are spinning the title track “The Main Thing” of the New Jersey band’s fifth album. Released in late February, the indie-rock quintet nailed an all-encompassing warm vibe with The Main Thing.
2020 is Real Estate’s 10th year as a band, so it was only fitting that they dropped a new, more adventurous album. VICE writes the album’s title track ranks among the band’s “best lyrics: ‘Despite the crushing weight of all that’s on our plate/Despite the true significance of everything at stake/I will stay true/The main thing.’”
