Groovy British duo Jungle is back with the irresistible “Keep Moving!” The throwback track serves as the lead single off of their upcoming Loving In Stereo. It’s a pure euphoric blast of serotonin. It’s also Stephanie’s DJ Pick of the Week!
“We had the hook and it just wouldn’t go away,” Jungle’s J Lloyd told NME. “It was so infectious and we just kept coming back to it.” The same can be said as a listener: once you hear this track once, it’s hard not to be addicted (though we welcome you to try!). That infectious spirit falls perfectly in line with the sounds Jungle built their initial hype on. Back in 2014, their self-titled debut album took the industry by storm. Between TV spots, BBC and Mercury Prize love, and a series of clutch festival bookings, Jungle was inescapable. The nu-disco energy that made the project so refreshing is remarkably exciting today, and the duo manages to keep evolving. If “Keep Moving” is any indication, things are going to—well—keep moving for this duo.
The song’s West Side Story-inspired video serves as the “visual identity” for what seems to be an upcoming visual album in the vein of Beyoncé’s past few records. It’s an eclectic visual, one that heightens the thrilling joy of the song itself. Check it out below!
