This morning Jayson and Mel welcomed Sam Johnston into the Volume.com Studio for an interview and performance! The Dallas native sang “Spirits and Jesus,” a track off his newly released album Cannnonball.
Johnston started work for the new album in 2019, and his perfectionist tendencies paired with beautiful vocals created something wonderful. In the interview Johnston says, “I definitely leaned into the writing and recording side of things.”
