This week’s ONErpm Hitmaker Alert is The Brazen Youth with “If These Wild Winds Are Yours” feat. Alix Page. The song is the perfect companion for your next hike or wild, outdoor adventure. The building guitar and the band’s vocals provide the song with a feeling of anticipation that reaches its peak towards the end of the track.
The song launched alongside the announcement of the band’s next album Eagle, Idaho which arrives this fall. “This song means so much to us,” the band wrote on Instagram. “We feel it’s all encompassing of our sound. And it was truly inspired by a wild wind that came out of nowhere one night camping in Sprague, WA. The song now hold’s that memory.”
The Brazen Youth is the project of Charles Dahlke, Nic Lussier and Micah Rubin. The band has been touring since 2017, having played five shows in Nashville. They’ll hit the stage at Brighton Music Hall in Boston this fall.
