As we move into the weekend, DJ Stephanie and Rhizome Productions’ Matt Leff bring you another great beer selection for Hoptober. Despite its roots in Athens, Georgia, Terrapin Beer Co. dedicated this unique flavor to Music City. Designed to celebrate Nashville’s world-renowned independent music venues, a portion of the proceeds from each can goes towards MVAN, the Music Venue Alliance of Nashville. While the 615 Live Lager generally only graces the bars of Nashville’s independent venues, the beer will also make an appearance at Nashville’s Touch of Brews event in Sevier Park this Saturday.
In flavor, the 615 Live Lager delivers a classic American lager taste that fits perfectly into a night out at any of the MVAN member venues. To add to this effect, the can artwork immediately calls to mind an energetic night out in Nashville. Come out to Touch of Brews, a family-friendly celebration of psychedelia and craft beer, this weekend to pick up a can and help out your local venues!
Hoptober Brews is brought to you by Rhizome Productions, Lipman Brothers & Lightning 100. Tune in every weekday at 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m from Oct. 3-14 for Lightning 100’s Hoptober Brews. You can always check out previous picks and keep up with upcoming episodes here!
