Arising from California, Spooky Mansion is a surfy soulful blues rock band that’s bringing the heat of California with them. The band is a creation stemming from Grayson Converse, a talented singer and songwriter.

The latest album release, as well as this single, “The River” personifies the time in Converse’s life where he met and fell in love with his wife. The music is very hopeful, uplifting, and romantic. Spooky Mansion sticks to the term, “an oldie but a goodie” when recording their records, as they’re all analog recordings. Spooky Mansion likes to incorporate a variety of unique stylistic elements like slide guitar and organ to entice listeners with a soulful feel.

The song “The River” details a long walk with Converse’s future wife. As they walked by the river, he envisioned buying a home and confessing his love. “The River” will premiere on Under the Radar along with a live, audio and video, recording of the song. It will be preformed at a remote ranch outside of L.A. In late October, Spooky Mansion will join Stop Light Observations, alongside performing select headline shows in the Pacific Northwest.

The album is off to a great start with it currently standing at #36 in the SubModern Radio chart! Additionally, it’s gaining plays from influential radio stations like KCRW and KCSN! Additionally, Spooky Mansion over the last few years, has been touring the United States. Jamming with the likes of Natalia LaFourcade and Cafe Tacuba. More recently, they aliened forces with The Moss as openers for their tour. Other accolades include glowing reviews from Paste, Wonderland, American Songwriter, and KQED/NPR!
