Loaded Honey is a London-based two-piece made up of Jungle members J Lloyd and Lydia Kitto. The project started as Lloyd and Kitto began to create music that evolved beyond Jungle’s original concept. The duo’s experimental sound delves into funk and soul-filled soft pop that evokes feelings of nostalgia and serenity. Loaded Honey just released their debut album, Love Made Trees, on June 6th.
“Tokyo Rain” touches on the theme of redemptive love with lyrics that are simplistically profound and are further enhanced by Kitto’s soulful vocals.
