We’re staying in Belgium as we wrap up this week with Holiday Hops 2020 Episode 5! Matt unveils a beer that’s about “on-brand” as possible: the St. Bernardus Christmas Ale. This seasonal dark ale has a creamy foam that brings to mind visions of snow.
You may remember Matt explaining singles, doubles, and quads yesterday. The St. Bernardus Christmas Ale is a quadruple fermented beer with 10% ABV, so be careful when you’re downing this one at the family dinner table! With creamy caramel and chestnut flavors, you’ll want to savor this one anyway.
