This week’s Community Corner spotlight features Chelsey Albert Healing!

This week, Brother Love chatted with Chelsey Albert, who practices intuitive healing to turn clients’ trauma into a positive. She focuses on pulling others out of the past through alternative practices. Different from talk therapy, Chelsey guides people out of just speaking truth but putting healing into action physically. She explains that using words to dig into feelings of anxiety brings stress to the surface, but doesn’t give people the tools to turn that into a positive energy. “We all have these ideas that are not truly native to us, that are not in our highest and best good,” Chelsey reflects. She describes how she got into her current field of hypnotherapy by visiting another hypnotherapist herself. This experience aided her in ending a negative spiral she couldn’t get out of otherwise.

Chelsey discusses multiple unconventional tactics meant to release anxiety, focusing on how the body holds tension and how to release it. She notes that every session with a client is different, and she tailors her practice to the individual. She also clears up confusion Brother Love expressed about hypnosis, explaining it relates more to subconscious truths than “mind control”. Of course, there’s no quick fix for anxiety, especially when it’s been an issue for a long time. Chelsey’s approach is just one option some turn to when traditional talk therapy isn’t providing the healing they’re looking for.

Brother Love leaves us with a quote from Allen Cohen: “Our problem is not that we are weak, but that we do not believe that we are strong.” Chelsey Albert Healing welcomes anyone interested in an alternative approach to anxiety and trauma. Her website offers more about her practice, testimonials, and a way to book a call.
