St. Paul & The Broken Bones made a splash in Nashville last month performing two back-to-back nights at Ryman Auditorium as well as a secret show right here in the OneRPM studio. Promoting their newly released record Sea of Noise, St. Paul played “Flow With it,” “All I Ever Wonder,” and “I’ll Be Your Woman” off the new album.
Based out of Birmingham, Alabama, St. Paul & The Broken Bones’ funky bass licks and coordinating suite style entice you back to the late ’50s era of classic southern soul. All that groovy color comes together through the combination of their six-piece band layered behind lead singer Paul Janeway’s tight brassy riffs.
