Nashville locals That’s My Kid paid an early morning visit to the LC Studio ahead of their Miller Made Music Showcase performance on Jan. 19 at Exit/In with Chrome Pony and Saint Pe. The band performed new tracks “If I Was Your Man” and “Get You Out” (with some newly-acquired vintage instruments) to start the day off right.

That’s My Kid also discussed their experience recording at The Bomb Shelter studio right here in the 615—the very same studio visited by Alabama Shakes, among many others. According to the band, the vibe during their time in the studio was excellent, and their new tracks certainly seem to show it!
