Summer is coming. Music Festival season is upon us, so ladies load up on glitter and guys grab your jerseys. Just a few months ago I remember scouring the festival lineups. Shaky Knees in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, and my opinion has one of the best lineups of 2019. Tim Sweetwood, the curator of Shaky Knees, gives us another reason to visit Atlanta this summer. With headliners such as Beck, Incubus, Tame Impala, Cage the Elephant, most of which released very recent music, we all are in for a hell of a show. Beck has also featured on a new Cage the Elephant song “Night Running,” so I’m hoping Beck joins Cage the Elephant during their set that would be Rock N’ Roll for sure! Click here to see our past coverage of the festival.

Another reason why Shaky Knees has the best lineup of 2019 is because it has stuck to its roots of Rock N’ Roll since its start in 2013; year after year booking amazing Rock acts such as Jack White, Alabama Shakes, The Avett Brothers, and The National along with up and coming rock /indie artists. The festival even got its name from the My Morning Jacket song “Steam Engine.” My Morning Jacket has played Shaky Knees before and Jim James, the lead singer, is on this year’s lineup, how rewarding that must be.

As if Shaky Knees wasn’t Rock N’ Roll enough already, you can get the Shaky Knees’ logo tattooed on your body and you’ll get free admission for life! Obviously, there are rules surrounding the size and such but that sounds like a hell of a deal! Click Here for rules and restrictions.I don’t know about you but I think I’m going to have to indulge a little and pay $100 bucks to see some of the best artists every year.

Shaky Knees kicks off today and I am so excited, from today’s lineup, to see Devon Gilfillian, Curtis Harding, Sharon Van Etten, Tears For Fears, Incubus, and obviously Beck! Make sure you check out our socials to stay up to date on what’s going on at the festival! Yay, festival season!
