Bloomsbuy Organic Farms is a love of farming has been passed down through generations. My father was raised by his grandparents on a dairy farm, and though they were forced out by the Army Corp of Engineers and eminent domain, his love of the land and its gifts only deepened. His motto for our family has always been “bloom where you were planted.” Like my father, my mother possesses a deep reverence for the land, and, after ten years of searching, they found a place where their shared love of it could take root, a place where they cultivated my passion for it, and a place where I hope to pass the same on to my own daughter — the place we named Bloomsbury Farm. – From owner and farmer Lauren Palmer

Bloomsbury Farm is nestled in the hills between Smyrna and Nolensville, TN. Our greenhouse grows sprouts, wheatgrass, and microgreens year–round. Vegetables, fruits, and herbs are also a large part of the operation; they are grown from March through November. We believe that when people eat natural, organic food, they can taste the difference. It’s a chain of goodness that begins with healthy soil, and finishes with healthy animals and people.

Every Saturday, from March to November, we sell our farm–fresh produce at four farmers markets around Nashville. It is important for us to get to meet our local community and support the buy–local movement. Come out and enjoy the benefits of organic living — we would love to meet you!

Bloomsbury is not only where we work, it is where we live. With three distinct properties on the farm, we have opened our loft for rent through Airbnb. It’s a beautiful destination for those looking for the convenience to Nashville, but wanting a secluded escape on our beautiful property.

We open our beautiful grounds to a limited number of weddings each year. With specially designed packages for wedding of all sizes and needs, our venue is the perfect location for an outdoor wedding that welcomes guests to a breathtaking location.

We provide our local community with the opportunity to share in seasonal living through our CSA basket options. We fill our baskets with fresh fruits, vegetables, and farm eggs. Bloomsbury — from our organic farm to your kitchen!
