Local artist of the week Robby Hecht has been captivating the Nashville music scene for years. His ’70s folk-inspired music is unapologetically honest and emotional, exploring topics like the human condition and mental health.
“Sugar” is part of the first pair of a five-set project that Hecht is calling Me And The Fool I’ve Been. Each set features one acoustic demo and one studio track.
“I’ve been playing ‘Sugar’ live for a long time…it’s a fun one. It got cut at the last minute from both of my past two full-length albums because the producer and I didn’t feel like we’d gotten it right. We got it right this time! I’m so excited to finally be handing it over,” Hecht says.
