Local artist of the week Rocky Block started playing drums in his fathers lap as a toddler. In his still very young career, he has gone on to be a respected singer, writer and bass player, opening for the likes of Eddie Money, Jefferson Starship, Delbert McClinton, Dwight Yoakam, Luke Combs and more in various projects. As a solo artist, Rocky’s music explores a soulful side that has always been his true musical love. Following a show in his hometown Nashville, his combination of classic soul, gospel and pop was described as “fucking awesome” by Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.
