At the time of this interview, Kearney was still reeling from the success of his #1 AAA hit, “Nothing Left To Lose,” and had just released his follow-up album, City Of Black & White. Kearney recently rereleased several of these songs on his City of Black & White Revisited EP.
David Hooper talks with Kearney about his spontaneous move to Nashville, how he wrote and recorded some of his biggest songs, what it’s like to have his songs synced in shows like Grey’s Anatomy, and more. Kearney plays a few songs for us live in studio as well.
