Fly Golden Eagle took the stage this Sunday night to perform their own unique brand of basement rock and roll. Born in Detroit with Kentucky lineage, lead singer Ben Trimble was destined to front this soulful rock outfit, pulling inspiration from Motown, country music, and gospel. Moving to Nashville and meeting the rest of the band only furthered Ben’s musical education and before long psychedelic rock and blues were thrown into the mix to create a sound more nuanced than he could have imagined.
