The night’s opening set featured Australian guitar prodigy, Joe Robinson, who also handled lead guitar duties in Rodney Crowell‘s band. Robinson was touring his native Australia with guitar legends like Tommy Emanuel before he was even a teen. Shortly after moving to Nashville, he was asked to play the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Lightning 100’s Live On The Green and he recently wowed TEDXNashville with his mind boggling guitar skills. As he often does, Robinson performed solo tonight with the aide of looping pedals, leaving the crowd wondering where that second and third guitar were coming from.

Nashville Sunday Night is a special presentation of Nashville’s Independent Radio, Lightning 100. Each Sunday night Lightning 100 broadcasts a concert from 3rd and Lindsley, one of Nashville’s finest live music venues. Along with Rodney Crowell, the March 19th show featured Joe Robinson.
