Kasey Chambers invited 3rd & Lindsley’s audience members to join her around the campfire as she told stories, shared photographs, and sung around a faux campfire- setting the mood for her personal performance. The Australian singer/songwriter grew up living off the land and traveling around Australia’s Outback with her family. Kasey’s voice and lyricism are authentic to her roots- with tonally rich vocals and colored lyrics she paints a vivid picture of what life was like living on The Outback. Kasey’s father, Bill Chambers, has co-written some of Kasey’s songs and joins her on stage as a member of the band. Kasey brought more of her family on stage towards the conclusion of her set for a heartfelt performance featuring her children accompanying her on backup vocals, guitar, and harmonica. This Nashville Sunday Night happened to be the last show of Kasey Chamber’s campfire tour, the singer performed a two-song encore and declared the performance as, “her favorite night on tour”.
