Lost Dog Street Band opened this week’s Nashville Sunday Night broadcast at 3rd and Lindsley. The band originated as a husband and wife duo, formed in the winter of 2010. Benjamin and Ashley carried their music across the country inspiring many others along the way. The band took a haitus from 2011-2013 to join two other musicians to form the band Spit Shine. Spit Shine came to an end in 2013 when their bandmate, Nicholas, passed away. After this Lost Dog Street Band was ressurected, and the duo always make sure to pay tribute to Nicholas at the end of every show they play.
