Virginia native, Lucy Dacus, took command of the stage at 3rd and Lindsley with the help of her band for our broadcast of Nashville Sunday Night. This 21-year-old powerhouse didn’t need much else but her rich vocal tone backed by distortion heavy instrumentation to capture the attention of the crowd. Her most popular song “I Don’t Wanna Be Funny Anymore” off of her debut album No Burden drew the audience in immediately with its catchy melody. Lucy also played new music from an album she’ll be recording here in Nashville this year.

Nashville Sunday Night is a special presentation of Nashville’s Independent Radio, Lightning 100. Each Sunday night Lightning 100 broadcasts a concert from 3rd and Lindsley, one of Nashville’s finest live music venues. Along with Lucy Dacus, the February 19th show featured Hamilton Leithauser.
