Paul Thorn took the 3rd and Lindsley stage on December 30, 2018 to present his life story in song. Thorn’s recent album “Don’t Let The Devil Ride” goes back to his gospel roots from growing up as a Mississippi preacher’s son. The album is a collection of reimagined tracks originally cut by black southern gospel groups and brings together the sounds of the Blind Boys of Alabama, Bonnie Bishop, The McCrary Sisters, and The Preservation Hall Jazz Horns. Listen to the album now, and check out Thorn’s full Nashville Sunday Night set below!
Nashville Sunday Night is a special presentation of Nashville’s Independent Radio, Lightning 100. Each Sunday night Lightning 100 broadcasts a concert from 3rd and Lindsley, one of Nashville’s finest live music venues.
