What do you get when you blend traditional bluegrass with punk rock? Yonder Mountain String Band, of course! Yonder is known for their live shows and fun covers. Their familiar sound filled 3rd and Lindsley once again on January 21st as they returned to play Lightning 100‘s weekly live concert broadcast, Nashville Sunday Night. The band treated us to their version of King Harvest’s 1972 hit, “Dancing in the Moonlight.” This American progressive bluegrass group out of Nederland, Colorado has topped the charts many times and their latest release, Love. Ain’t Love hit #1 on the iTunes bluegrass chart.
