Lani here with my DJ pick of the week- “Diana Meyer” by Viretta, an alternative-rock band hailing from Denver, CO.
Always “serving up molten hot riff rock like it’s nobody’s business”, Viretta is basking in the release of their first full-length album, The Fear. Twin brothers Mike and Rob Moroni started the band in 2010 and draw from influences like Radiohead and Queens of the Stone Age. They announced last month that they’re making the move to Music City: “Nashville has been so many things… HotChickenHotChickenHotChicken but most of all, it’s given us a new opportunity to grow and push ourselves to be the best we can be.”
