Elizabeth Cook’s sound is what people flock to Nashville for: sultry, soulful country. The daughter of two aspiring musicians, the Florida-born singer/songwriter was destined for Nashville stardom. With a new album, Exodus of Venus, dropping June 17, Cook has been a standout in the country scene since her first record in 2000, The Blue Album. Cook earned her first Grand Ole Opry appearance the same year, and has since boasted other noteworthy performances, including work with Jason Isbell in 2013.
