Lt. Dan here with my DJ pick of the week Portland-based roots-rock band Fruition. “Baby Let’s Go” is the lead single off their recent four track EP Fire. The track was recorded during the the recording of their latest full-length album Watching It All Fall Apart, which was produced by Tucker Martine (First Aid Kit, My Morning Jacket, The Decemberists).
The band consists of Jay Cobb Anderson (vocals, lead guitar, harmonica), Kellen Asebroek (vocals, rhythm guitar, piano), Mimi Naja (vocals, mandolin, electric & acoustic guitar), Jeff Leonard (bass) and Tyler Thompson (drums, banjo) who blend together perfectly to create rockin’ jamgrass you can’t help but groove to.
