M.A.G.S. is coming out with his new album in August, but our summer rotation couldn’t wait that long! His latest single, “Choked Out” is already here and we’re all too excited to share it with our listeners.
The song, simultaneously upbeat and defiant, tells the story of being in a relationship that’s not good for them. Except in this case, it’s with himself. M.A.G.S. explains the toxicity of our inner critiques in a manner so exciting and danceable, you can’t resist the urge to get on your feet and start moving.
“Sometimes the darkest part of the human experience is the constant battle between the truth and what our inner voice tells us. We realize our fears because it’s easier to accept the lies we feed ourselves, rather than standing up and trying to change our way of thinking.”

Elliott Douglas heroically breaks the fourth wall within himself and called out his inner critique in this new summer jam. The journey of self-love is always worth celebrating, and we’ll be doing just that with “Choked Out” all weekend long thanks to ONErpm!
