Classic country picker and Austin, Texas native Sarah Jarosz was mastering mandolin at age 10. As she aged, her musical palette matured, enriching her sound with bluegrass and deep, Texan roots music. Touring with Parker Millsap in the fall, Jarosz is a multifaceted tour de force. Her wide instrumental talent coupled with her smooth vocals evokes comparisons to iconic country talents like Emmylou Harris and Loretta Lynn.
We had the pleasure of hearing Jarosz play an unplugged, secret show at Bonnaroo in 2012. Watch her perform “Come Around” here.
