“Kaden’s Van” is this week’s ONErpm Hitmaker Alert! Influenced by their Southern California roots, Sun Room is a 4-piece surf rock band. The band consists of Luke Asgian (lead vocals & guitar), Ashton Minnich (guitar), Max Pinamonti (bass), and Gibby Anderson (drums). Started by Asgian in 2020, in a short amount of time Sun Room has taken the world by storm. With two of their singles featured in Netflix’s Outer Banks, the band went on to open for Louis Tomlinson in 2022, touring around North, South, and Central America. Sun Room is now supporting the band Inhaler on their spring 2023 tour and will play the Shaky Knees festival in May, before headlining their own tour in the fall.

From playing shows in garages to cooling off on the beach with friends, “Kaden’s Van” describes a ‘go with the flow’ approach to life. Backed by distorted guitars, the song is powered by a catchy hook stating, “No job, no pay, don’t need it anyway. No plan today. While we still got the summertime. Down to my last dime. Spend it on a vibe. Into mid-July. Just keep going.” A genuinely fun song, “Kaden’s Van” will have you road-tripping to the beach and catching waves.
