On Monday, February 1st, Lightning Casey made a special announcement to bands across the Nashville area! We’re updating our station imaging for the acclaimed all-local specialty program “The 615“, and we need some help to create some original theme music. Rather than settling for one tune, we’ll be rotating through some of our favorites in order to show some love to the many creative artists and producers that call Nashville home.
From Lightning Casey:
“We’re asking you to create new theme music for the615 on Lightning 100!
Tracks would need to run 60-90 seconds. If the last 10-20 could be instrumental, that’d be great, but it’s not required. You don’t have to write lyrics, but if you do, please be mindful of the words we can’t say on the air.
Please understand that a submission doesn’t necessarily guarantee we’ll be able to use your music, but if we use your music on an episode, we will be sure to mention the artist and any shows or releases coming up, as well as socials.
It doesn’t matter if you send a .wav or an .mp3, but nothing from YouTube. Please send in the actual file. Please DO NOT send these through the regular submission page, but rather send them to Casey, with “(Your Name) Theme Submission” in the subject line.”
