This week, our ONErpm Hitmaker Alert is “Antisocial” by Sam Tinnesz! Although you my not know it yet, it’s quite likely that you have heard his music. Sam Tinnesz’s music is featured in a plethora of film, tv and commercial credits. For example, Tinnesz has songs featured in television shows Riverdale and All American, pro sports broadcasting such as the NFL and MLB, and in national ads for companies such as Toyota, Samsung and Target. Consequently, Tinnesz finds himself with a large fanbase, constantly excited for what is coming next. He has a whopping 3.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 300,000 subscribers on YouTube.
“Antisocial” is a brand new track, hitting streaming platforms on April 22. On social media, Tinnesz describes this track as an “Introvert’s Anthem”. The song reveals quickly that the pandemic had a hand in the song’s influence, as the music video opens on a news anchor talking about lockdown. The lyrics then adapt to describe an individual being responsible for Tinnesz’s self-isolation. This is shown in lyrics such as “You make me antisocial” and “I think I hate everybody but you”.
